About Martha
I am new to tutoring but my experience includes teaching 2 Peruvian students English, 1 of which I was with for 3 months. Although I wasn't teaching Spanish, I was using my Spanish to explain to them and constantly translating.

I am in my final year of an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages at Newcastle University. I am offering tuition for students up to the age of 16, in particular with help at or approaching GCSE level.
My teaching can be flexible depending on what the student needs, I can tailor my teaching to you!
Essentially I can offer support in writing, reading and speaking. This can include speaking practice/conversation, preparing small passages/essays and understanding texts. I can also help with exam preparation (e.g. perform mock speaking exams).
I can also teach younger children in a more creative/interactive way with songs and games etc. I am passionate about children learning languages from a young age and I love working with young children as well as teenagers.
Equally I am extremely happy to help adult learners at beginner and intermediate level or even to help with some key holiday phrases for an upcoming trip.
