About Malavika
I'm a music enthusiast and singing classical music has been running in my family as tradition for many generations. It is a true passion of mine and I have made it an absolute priority to take it with me wherever I go in life! I was born in Bangalore, India (where I began my journey in music) after which I moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (where the largest segment of my musical education took place) and am now in London, United Kingdom, in my final year of Law! I have been giving performances on stage in both classical and non-classical formats and absolutely love the whole process of it. I've devised methods to get over stage fright and this, as a life skill, has helped me with my degree too!

Music has been a passion of mine ever since I remember and my classes will take on a flowing but structured format. There are certain checkpoints that every student will have to reach but the time taken for them to reach it will be according to their pace as I will be reviewing their progress constantly. I have lesson plans set already as to how to build up a voice using breathing techniques, warm-up exercises, tips and tricks to making a voice flow and an array of songs that fit vast vocal ranges. Classes with me will be engaging and largely student read and I strongly believe that true progress comes only when there is passion for the subject and will from within to do better! I can do lessons for all ages as it is never too early or too late to enter the world of music! Lessons would be 45 minutes to 1 hour long at least as that is the optimum amount of time taken to warm the voice up, get a chunk of teaching in and close with discussions on how to take on the next class.
