For Leaving Cert and Junior Cert students, my approach to teaching English and history is tailored to meet the specific demands of these curricula while also igniting a genuine interest in the subjects. In English, this means a focused study of prescribed texts, with an emphasis on developing strong analytical and essay-writing skills crucial for exam success. We'll dissect themes, character development, and literary techniques within the context of the exam requirements, ensuring students are well-prepared to tackle unseen texts and comparative essays. Aoife is an amazing tutor in history and English. She gives grinds to my dyslexic son in both subjects. The notes she gave were amazing and easy to read. He went from a H5 to a H2 in history and went from H7 to H4 in English. I could not recommend her more!
