About Khadija
Hi! I’m Khadija, a final-year medical student with over 7 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in Maths and the Sciences.
I started tutoring alongside my A Levels and have since worked with students of a wide range of abilities, from those who lack confidence in a subject to students aiming for the highest grades. One of the things I enjoy most about tutoring is watching a student go from feeling completely stuck on a topic to eventually being able to work through it independently.
Having worked with students over longer periods of time, I’ve also had the opportunity to see their confidence and grades improve and to support them all the way through to their final exams.
I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want my students to feel completely comfortable telling me when something doesn’t make sense. There are never any silly questions in my lessons! My goal is ultimately to help students become more confident and independent learners while giving them the knowledge and exam skills they need to achieve the grades they’re capable of!

I have over 7 years of tutoring experience, working with students across GCSE and A-Level in Maths and the Sciences. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether that’s building confidence in difficult topics, strengthening their understanding of key concepts or preparing for upcoming exams.
I take a very interactive approach to teaching. Rather than simply explaining content, I work through concepts with my students, ask questions throughout the lesson to check their understanding and use plenty of exam-style questions to help them apply what they’ve learnt. I also focus heavily on exam technique, helping students understand exactly what questions are asking and how to structure their answers to gain marks.
As a final-year medical student, I have a strong academic background in the sciences and understand how overwhelming challenging subjects can sometimes feel. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and telling me when they don’t understand something.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s ability, learning style and goals, from students looking to build their confidence and improve their grades to those aiming for the highest GCSE and A-Level grades
