About Georgia
I am in my final year of university studying BA Spanish and Italian at the University of York. I have strong results in Spanish (GCSE grade 9, A Level A*). I understand how stressful exams can be, not only in the exam hall, but in the months and years leading up to it. Classes can be tough in your own language, let alone a foreign one. I'll work with students 1-1 in a calm, fun, judgement-free environment. This will help students feel more settled in school classes and create grades they are proud of.
For 2 years I have worked at a children's summer camp in the USA as a Counsellor. This experience has been invaluable for me in learning more about the way young people work. I have extensive experience working with a variety of learning styles and personalities. This summer I will be returning as a Supervisor for the same camp, showing my commitment for working with young people.

I offer structured and supportive Spanish lessons tailored to each student's needs. My focus is on building confidence through strengthening grammar, vocabulary and exam skills.
I break down difficult grammatical issues into clear steps, providing useful examples for more visual learners. Lessons are interactive and encouraging, with regular feedback to help students understand where they are at.
Lessons are 30-60 minutes depending on what the student needs.
My lessons are ideal for GCSE students (Years 9-11), both Foundation and Higher, but also younger students wanting to build strong grades in Spanish.
