About Aimee
Hi there! I'm Aimée, a final year student of German at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I have a passion for German and I hope I can share it with you! I have been studying German for a decade and my experience of German as a non-native speaker has given me an insight into the difficulties students of German face on their learning journey. Equally, living and working in Germany has equipped me with a deep understanding of the language and culture, which I would love to pass on to you! I hope that we can work together to help you achieve your German language goals!

Learning a language can be challenging, but my one-to-one hour-long lessons provide the space for students to engage with German in a low-pressure environment. Lessons take a hands-on approach, as I teach in German as far as the student's level will allow to build confidence in listening and comprehension skills. Every language learner is unique and my lessons reflect this, as I plan classes tailored to the needs and goals of each of my students. I cater to learners of all levels and ages, and offer exam-focused, business or conversational German classes.
