About Thierry
I am a finance and data professional with many years of experience using Excel for financial modelling, reporting, analysis and business decision-making across international organisations and projects.
My background spans finance, FP&A, data engineering and business intelligence, and I have worked extensively with Excel alongside tools such as Power BI, SQL and Power Query. Over the years I have also built up a substantial library of financial models, templates and practical examples across different industries.
I enjoy breaking complex problems into clear, logical steps and helping people understand not just which formula to use, but why it works and when to use it.
I am patient, analytical and practical in my approach, and particularly enjoy helping professionals, students and career changers become more confident and efficient with Excel in real-world situations.

My Excel lessons are practical, hands-on and built around real-world use rather than abstract exercises. I work professionally with Excel, financial modelling, reporting and data analysis, so I focus on the skills people actually need in the workplace.
Lessons can cover formulae, PivotTables, charts, lookups, Power Query, data cleaning, reporting, financial modelling, scenario analysis and more advanced Excel techniques depending on your level and goals.
I have built up a large library of Excel templates, financial models and worked examples over the years, which allows me to demonstrate different approaches and create realistic exercises rather than relying on generic textbook examples.
You are also welcome to bring your own spreadsheet or work problem to a lesson. We can work through it together so that you not only solve the immediate issue, but understand the logic well enough to apply it independently afterwards.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for beginners, students, finance professionals, analysts, managers and anyone who wants to become more confident using Excel at work.
