About Maya
I am a Finance Student going into my second year at the University of Exeter. I play BUCS hockey and have an international background, growing up in Hong Kong and Sweden. I am a very bubbly, outgoing person with lots of experience working with younger children. I am very patient and understand first-hand people's different learning/communicating styles. I am really interested in meeting new people and trying to help them overcome any difficulties they may have academically.

Having struggled with different learning techniques when I was younger, I have learnt a broad range of teaching methods. Some examples include: past paper questions, flashcards, spider diagrams, knowledge boards and group work. Am happy to be flexible with hours, typically 1-2 hours. I have experience in tutoring friends' children privately, but looking to start my tutoring career. My lessons are for typical GCSE students 14-16 but did both of these subjects in A-level as well so able to provide some advanced knowledge.
