About Genesis
Hello, my name is Genesis Lima and I am a current undergraduate student studying Finance. Having experience as a Nursery Teacher Assistant and Dance Teacher, I have been praised for the ambience I create with the students but also the positive impact in their lives i.e. encouraging them to enjoy dance. It is because of the experience, it has inspired me to teach Spanish as a tutor. As Spanish is my mother tongue and spoken in my household on a daily basis, I have also used my bilingual skills to teach my family English. In addition, having successes with my close friends who ask me for help in preparing for their trips to Spain, I knew I had to expand on this on a greater level and help many others. With my organisation and patience, I want to make sure you feel confident and enjoy learning the language which could open many doors for you in the future.

My teaching involves a plan whereby we cover the basic material needed and extra resources to get you feeling confident in the Spanish language. For GCSE and A-Level students, we will be following your academic specification to make sure we are on the right track to feel prepared sufficiently and effectively for your exams. Moreover, there will be extra resources provided in order to aim and achieve those high marks in reading, writing, speaking and listening. For those who seek to learn Spanish for personal reasons (i.e. travel) or professional, the lessons will be planned and in accordance with your language level upon a mini test provided and a Spanish Workbook. If you have a time-frame, the lessons will be further accommodated to your needs. Length of lessons are 1hr-2hrs, taking up to 3hrs if needed. I have experience as a Nursery Teacher Assistant and Dance Teacher for the kids in my community, where my supervisors have praised me and have encouraged me to teach in other areas of my skills. Lessons are open to all ages and all levels!!
