About Beatrice
"Teaching Excel for 12 years has shown me that most people struggle with basic syntax before they ever reach the complex stuff. I hold an MSc Finance from the University of Cambridge and focus entirely on practical application for the workplace. My students include office staff, job seekers, and analysts who require rapid results for their daily tasks. I have seen countless individuals refine their technical habits over my 12 years of instructing.
This career-focused approach ensures that coursework translates directly into professional competency during interviews or daily tasks. My method prioritises the fundamentals to prevent common spreadsheet errors that plague many corporate environments. You will find my instruction style calm and detail-oriented as we navigate through your specific technical hurdles. I turn complex logic into simple, repeatable processes that you can rely on every single day."

"Clean spreadsheets appear on your screen as we strip away unnecessary data and build robust models from scratch. You will practise keyboard shortcuts and nested IF logic until these functions become second nature for your workflow. My MSc Finance degree informs the way I structure every lesson to mirror the demands of high-pressure financial environments.
We move through data cleaning and pivot charts with a specific focus on what-if analysis and macro basics. 12 years of experience allows me to pinpoint exactly where your spreadsheet design falters during complex modelling tasks.
You will leave these sessions with a library of shortcuts that significantly reduce your time spent on repetitive tasks. We dedicate time to testing your formulae to ensure they remain accurate under various scenarios. Learning to manage VBA basics feels much less intimidating when we break down the code into manageable chunks. You might even find that structuring a complex model correctly provides a sense of genuine satisfaction."
