I begin by exploring a learner's basic skills. If I find there are gaps I put these deficits right to create a secure foundation. I take each area of maths and make sure that the basic ideas are established. I then design a work programme to develop the ideas. These programmes are individualised and are split into easy manageable stages. The work always ends in the ability to solve problems.
I am a teacher with 40 years experience. I have taught one to one maths for 20 years. I write all my own material which is tailored to suit individual learners. The material makes repetitive work interesting. I have a doctorate in Psychology.
