About Angus
I'm an artist that has experience In multidisciplinary practices, in my early years in education I focused on Illustration, Screen Prints, Etchings, and Mono-Prints. My main area of expertise is helping people getting to grips with expressionist Painting and trying to conceptualize feelings onto the canvas. I currently use multimedia to create work, with acrylics, inks, masking tape, duct tape, and spraypaint being a constant throughout. My teaching method is allowing the student to communicate where they are currently with their work, helping them to concentrate their creative thoughts into a channel where they can develop ideas and techniques in a free and enjoyable learning experience. I always found when I was being tutored that the most important thing to drive work forward is the ability to let yourself make mistakes. Allow yourself to take risks, then to understand what happened and how to do it right next time.
