About Elena
My education consists of 12 years of academic training as a fine artist, with deep expertise in drawing, painting, anatomy and perspective. I love sharing knowledge about these subjects with my students. Before the pandemic, I enjoyed participating in international art festivals and forums, and my paintings can be found in exhibitions and private art collections around the world. A number of my students have pursued their own professional art careers after working with me.

I use a classical theory-based approach to guide students towards creating high-quality artworks through regular evaluations and constructive feedback. Practical demonstrations are used to break down complex subject matters in a way that is easy for you to see and understand. I offer critical feedback through suggestions and demonstration, helping you to tackle difficult techniques while growing your confidence and pride in your work. The goal is to give you a fundamental grasp of art skills in your chosen area using lines, colour, tone and many other elements. The lessons typically last 1-2 hours, depending on the student's requirements. You can choose to work on a particular topic or image during the sessions if you wish. I have a BA in Fine Art and 15 years of experience as a private tutor. All age groups and skill levels are welcome in my classes.

Elena is a wonderful teacher and has taught me many important skills over the few years i’ve been there. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their art skills!
I found Elena's input extremely useful in developing my approach to my own art work. For those who wish to develop their drawing and painting using observation Elena offers excellent advice for those developing these skills.
