About Ida
Hello, I am Ida (short for Irida). I’ve been where you are now and would love to support you on your journey. I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Interior and Spatial Design and have over 5 years of experience in the residential and commercial interior design industry.
I can offer guidance on your application, portfolio reviews, and university application support, as well as insight into the industry. I also provide support with industry software and programmes such as SketchUp and Adobe Suite.
I focus on helping students translate creative ideas into strong, well-structured portfolios that stand out for university applications.

I offer lessons which are tailored to each student’s level and stage in their design journey. I take a focused, supportive and friendly approach to build confidence and help strengthen design thinking skills.
Our lesson usually begins with a review of your current project, portfolio, or application progress. From there, we identify strengths and areas for development across concept development, layout, visual communication, and overall design direction.

- Portfolio structure

- Presentation skills
- SketchUp/Adobe software support
Lessons are 1 hour long and can be adapted depending on deadlines or workload, with longer sessions available for portfolio reviews or application preparation.
My approach is clear and constructive, ensuring you always leave with actionable feedback and a clear direction for how to move your work forward.
