About Molly
Hi! I'm Molly - I have a first-class degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and after spending several summers working on summer camps in the USA, I became very passionate about working with young people and trained as a secondary school teacher!
I am passionate about helping my students feel seen and heard, and valued as individuals, and working collaboratively to help them meet their goals. My background in psychology has given me a strong grounding in the psychology of learning and the importance of wellbeing for academic success, and these are principles that I build into all of my teaching.

I am a qualified secondary teacher with a background in psychology - I believe in teaching students how to learn effectively, as well as just teaching content, to give them the skills they need to be successful in all their future academic endeavours.
My lessons are interactive and engaging - I avoid lecture-style teaching and instead use a mix of worked example, independent practice, application and exam questions and retrieval practice to help students actively engage with the topic we are learning about.
I offer tuition for KS3 and GCSE level in maths and science (biology, chemistry, physics and combined science) as well A-level biology and psychology tuition, and undergraduate level psychology tuition.
I have particular experience working with students with aspirations of attending the top UK universities (Oxbridge) or competitive courses such as medicine and dentistry.
In addition, I have significant experience working with SEND students. I have worked with students with a range of needs - including dyslexia, ADHD, ASD and EBSA/school-based anxiety - and adapt the curriculum and my teaching style to specifically meet their individual strengths and challenges.

Molly has been really helpful with my university work! We have also had some really interesting and insightful discussions about the topics I'm learning about which has really helped me to think more broadly about my degree and what I might like to do in the future.
