About Zach
I hold a First-Class degree in Theology, Philosophy, and Philosophy of Religion from the University of Cambridge, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and over 5 years of tutoring and teaching experience. Currently completing my Master’s in Theology, I am passionate about the need for high quality education in Religion, Philosophy, and Theology.
My motivation to teach stems from seeing students move from feeling overwhelmed by dense academic texts to confidently dissecting arguments and building top-band essays. I combine high-level academic expertise with practical teaching methods to break down challenging ideas in ethics, philosophy, and theology into clear, manageable steps.
Whether you are pushing for an A* or preparing for Oxbridge admissions, I aim to build both your subject knowledge and your confidence as an independent thinker.

Standard classes often rely on memorising textbook facts. My approach builds genuine subject mastery and sharp critical thinking. With a Cambridge First in Theology and QTS, you will learn how to analyse complex philosophical, ethical, and theological texts with academic rigour. Rather than just telling you what to think, we focus on how to evaluate arguments, spot logical flaws, and write with the precision top examiners look for.
Typical Lesson Structure:
1. Concept Breakdown: Unpacking complex theories clearly.
2. Critical Discussion: Challenging assumptions and honing arguments.
3. Essay Application: Applying concepts directly to exam questions.
Platform Features:
Virtual Workspace: Live essay planning and whiteboarding.
Recorded Sessions: Rewatch any lesson for revision.
Progress Trackers: Live monitoring of skills and syllabus coverage.
