About Amy
I recently graduated from Cambridge University (Trinity College) with a First-Class degree in History - a testament to my lifelong love of learning. Throughout my degree I made good use of my Latin A-Level (A*), which equipped me to appreciate Classical, Medieval and Early Modern sources in their original language. Teaching Latin (as well as History and English literature) alongside my degree allowed me to share my love for the language and its literature, helping students to both do well in exams, and to develop a surprisingly useful skill!

I teach Latin from beginner to GCSE. I am very happy to support students who just need a bit of help to consolidate the grammar, but also have experience teaching Latin as a complete GCSE course to students whose school timetable does not offer it. In all my lessons, I help students to think independently and push them to do their best. Every student learns differently, and the lessons reflect this. My students are equipped to succeed in exams, but I emphasise the importance of appreciating the beauty of the language, and the richness of classical literature and history.
