About Abbie
Hello! I graduated Durham University with a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and have an academic background in psychology and research methods. I currently work in a paediatric clinical psychology service. I completed my A Levels in Psychology, Biology and English Literature and achieved A* A* A* in 2018. Throughout my degree and A Levels, I enjoyed tutoring and mentoring other students and found a real love for helping others to achieve their potential in a subject I am so passionate about. Having completed my studies relatively recently, I have a strong sense of what is expected of students and am keen to pass along the techniques that helped me to achieve the highest marks in my cohort at school. My aim is to help students feel confident with all aspects of the course and support them in achieving the grade they are aiming for. My wide range of clinical and research experience mean I bring a depth of knowledge to each session that can help students to go above and beyond their understanding in class. I am patient and understanding, with experience in working with neurodivergent and anxious students to create a comfortable and supportive learning environment. I aim to personalise each lesson to the specific needs of the student, tailoring practice questions and content revision to maximise learning and increase confidence.
