I graduated with a First Class Honours in History from the University of Warwick in June 2016, I specialised in Early Modern History - specifically the period between 1500-1750. I have experience tutoring secondary school students, and AS-Level students. I tend to favour an informal method of instruction, encouraging students to explore and develop their own ideas, in line with exam board curricula. In the past I have focused on developing students writing style, and the ability to develop coherent arguments and ideas.
I have tutored a number of pupils since September 2010. I have tutored students in GCSE English, Maths and History. All students that I have tutored have achieved a B grade or above in the requisite subject. I want to encourage students to develop their own thoughts and ideas so that they can achieve their full potential.
For AS/A-Level students my rates increase by £2 per hour. Reductions in rates can be discussed for block lessons.
I am available to provide lessons on webcam immediately, and in person from September 2017.
