About Emily
I have had plenty of experience being taught and practicing art in an academic or collaborative setting. though I have had no experience teaching before, hence why my prices are so reasonable. I received a First Class in Illustration Animation BA (Hons) from Kingston- a leading Arts university and specialised more in illustration than in animation. I base most of my own illustration work around Art History and Historical subjects in general.

Lessons will be engaging and will include information about other artists techniques, if you would care to know or I could suggest approaches to your practice that I think you will enjoy and may be helpful for developing your natural art style. There is an option for a certain amount of flexibility if you like. I can base my lesson structure around subjects like portraiture, buildings and perspective, drawing animals and more. Alternatively, I am open to suggestions, on which you would like to focus. Perhaps you have a project that you want to pursue or we can be more experimental with use of materials: using lino print, collage etc. As I have mentioned I can provide an art history knowledge to these subjects also, though more so we will exercise art technique. I intend to teach art professionally in the future and I am equipped to teach at a hobby level at present due to academic experience and personal research into art and teaching art. I would love to teach any type of person really.
