About Elliott
I am a passionate graduate engineering student that loves to learn, study, and explore new things. I always enjoy dissecting topics and problems, and helping others learn more about the world around them. I’m passionate about mentoring and encouraging students in the way I was when I was studying for my GCSEs. I believe that every student has the capacity for excellence and that finding the right medium for expressing themselves is the key to unlocking their potential.

I aim to motivate and inspire students in their pursuit of their goals. As a student who once struggled with maths, physics, and more, my own experience with a tutor taught me the skills I needed to learn, develop and understand concepts on my own.
Moreover, I learnt the value of a tutor as a mentor, not just as a teacher. I aim to find the passions that students have for these topics, encouraging them to look beyond just the class content and the question of ‘why are we learning this,’ and see maths and physics as valuable tools and concepts that are everywhere in everyday life.
My teaching focuses on active recall and a rounded understanding of topics to solidify both foundational understanding as well as advanced and contextual scenarios.
My background in Mechanical Engineering and an upcoming Master’s in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Manchester aligns perfectly with the practical application that students are looking for in their studies, and I can confidently relay complex topics in a digestible and rounded manner.
