About Eve
Hi I'm Eve! I'm 21 and a UCL Human Sciences graduate, living in central London. While Human Sciences provided me with a broad multi-disciplinary academic foundation, I spent my 2 final years majoring in genetics, including advanced human, evolutionary and functional/experimental genetics. I achieved all 9s in STEM subjects at GCSE and an A* in FSMQ maths. In 6th form, I achieved 42 in the IB, with 7s in all HL subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I am very experienced at understanding and mastering exam technique - an integral part of achieving well, and have tried and tested all sorts of revision techniques. I play netball competitively for UCL and love music! I want to help others achieve academically and enjoy the sciences as I think they are fascinating. I would love to help you gain the grades you deserve!

Genetic concepts only come to life in context; for this reason, they are most easily understood through examples and practice questions. Therefore, lessons will introduce concepts theoretically but will always be explained using examples. After this, we can work through contextual practice questions to further help with understanding. I am also happy to give advice and feedback on genetics assignments for university modules. During 6th form, I helped my peer improve from a level 4 to 6 in biology, and a level 3 to 6 in chemistry within a year. I am happy to help anyone up to undergraduate level with understanding genetics concepts- A-level, IB and undergrad. Lessons are 60 minutes.
