About Pranav
My name is Pranav. I'm doing my Bachelor's in Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo and I can help you thrive academically. I was an SAT tutor in high school and am currently working as a project management intern at Tesla. My number one goal is always to inspire students and encourage them to be able to conquer any task they face. I tutor Math, Physics and Computer Science for students Grade 1 to 12 all remotely. As a tutor, I help students understand the practical significance of their studies by introducing concepts through real-world applications before moving on to academic language. With guided practice that fosters independence rather than dependence, my lessons move from relatable examples to formal terminology. I believe that good tutoring should eventually become unnecessary, so I don't give answers; instead, I give students the tools they need to solve problems on their own. My method turns passive learners into self-assured problem-solvers, especially for STEM students in high school who find it difficult to relate classroom theory to real-world applications.
