About Ishika
Hello! I'm Ishika, a passionate Bharatanatyam dancer and a five-year graduate from Bhatkhande Lucknow. Along with my professional career, dance has always been an important part of my life, and I love sharing this beautiful classical art form with others.
I believe Bharatanatyam is much more than learning steps—it teaches discipline, confidence, grace, and self-expression. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace.
Whether you're a complete beginner, a child taking your first dance class, or someone looking to reconnect with Indian classical dance, I'll guide you with patience, structured lessons, and personalized attention. My Bharatanatyam classes are designed to make classical dance enjoyable, disciplined, and easy to learn for beginners and intermediate students. As a five-year graduate from Bhatkhande Lucknow, I focus on building strong fundamentals including posture, adavus, hand gestures, expressions, rhythm, and stage confidence.
Each class usually begins with a short warm-up, followed by technique practice, theory and rhythm understanding, and then choreography or performance work. I teach with patience and give individual attention so that every student progresses comfortably at their own pace.
