About Michael
I'm a BA/MSc psychology graduate who has also played the flute since age 8 — that's 15 years so far! I've previously played flute and piccolo for school and local wind ensembles, jazz bands, and chamber groups. Beyond flute and piccolo, I also play piano and have played at the collegiate level in a symphony band across all three of my instruments.

No matter how old or how young you are, I'm excited to help start you on your musical journey! In our first lesson, we'll talk about your prior musical experiences and discuss your goals for learning the flute and/or piccolo. Following lessons will give us the opportunity to work towards those goals while I teach techniques and provide feedback. My lessons are for people of all ages, and I'm best suited for teaching people who are new to flute and piccolo, including those new to musical instruments in general.
