About Nick
Italy has had a big influence on my life, from learning the language for the first time at university to then living in the country on multiple occasions.
The language is a hard one to speak well because of the difficult grammar but we can avoid that, other than the basics of course, if you are, for example, a beginner and just need a few words for your trips. For those who want to go deeper (subjunctive anyone?), that is of course an option. I personally love Italian grammar but it is challenging.
As well as teaching the language, I can give you insights into Italian culture based on my time there so you can avoid making it so obvious you are a foreigner. Not an easy thing but a little will go a long way and Italians will really appreciate you trying to speak their language and enjoy their culture.

Ideally, we would want an interactive lesson - the point is for you to speak and learn more as you do after all.
I have taught Italian to many different people, from undergraduates to individuals looking to have some basic Italian for travel purposes. So, I teach any level and any age. Happy to teach in groups and also to teach online as well as locally (Somerset).
We can go at the pace you'd like to. I think there is a lot of value in finding different methods of language learning and so I'd absolutely encourage you to learn through apps, through your own ways of wanting to study, as well as having the personal tutoring.
