About Jordan
My name is Jordan. My English parents moved to Mallorca, Spain 40 years ago and have lived there ever since. Growing up on a Spanish island meant that I was surrounded by a different culture and of course a different language to which we speak at home. From the age of 3, I started making friends with Spanish kids which allowed me to develop my skills and knowledge of both the Spanish culture and language. I studied Spanish all through school and acquired an A* in GCSE Spanish and an A in A Level Spanish. I want to use my knowledge of the Spanish language to teach people of all ages as I have found being bilingual very beneficial when it comes to travelling and making relationships with new people!

Being raised in an English household, the way I learnt Spanish was by having conversations with Spanish friends and work colleagues. I find the best way of learning a language is a conversational approach. Learning the basics of the language would be the first step. As my student develops their vocabulary, I find it important to have conversations about various different topics in order to put their conversational skills to the test. This will not only improve their pronunciation but also their confidence to be able to have a conversation in the language they are wanting to learn.
