About Wren
With 8 years of experience as a Saxophone tutor, I have guided nearly 150 students through different learning stages. I believe a calm and friendly environment helps students learn music more effectively.
My teaching style is calm, structured, and student-friendly. I guide students step by step, ensuring they feel comfortable before moving to advanced topics. Lessons focus on breath control, tone quality, finger accuracy, rhythm, and musical understanding.
I adapt lessons to suit each student’s pace and comfort level. I encourage questions and provide clear practice instructions for home learning.
What makes my tutoring unique is my patient and approachable teaching style. My aim is to help students enjoy learning saxophone while developing strong skills and confidence.

Collaboration is central: students actively contribute ideas, experiment with improvisation, and participate in shaping their lessons, building both creativity and confidence.
I maintain a positive and supportive environment where mistakes are embraced as opportunities for improvement and achievements are celebrated. Lessons include saxophone techniques, musical expression, improvisation, performance preparation, and theory, providing a well-rounded musical foundation.
Beyond saxophone, I provide instruction in music theory, sight-reading, ensemble performance, and ear training. My goal is to help students grow into expressive, versatile musicians who love music.
