About Leila
As a vocal tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), I specialize in helping singers understand the art of vocal harmony. My passion is creating layered vocal arrangements that bring songs to life.
From A Cappella groups to Pop, Gospel, and R&B styles, I guide students through the techniques of blending voices and building harmonies. We also explore counter-melodies and creative arranging methods.
Students learn how to develop vocal parts that complement one another. It’s exciting to hear harmonies grow and evolve during the process.
I also incorporate improvisation, songwriting, and music technology into lessons. These tools help singers explore new musical possibilities.
My background in music history and ethnomusicology brings a global perspective to vocal learning. Every harmony tells a story.
I teach school students, college musicians, and aspiring professionals. If you’re ready to discover the beauty of harmony, I’d love to work with you.

My teaching philosophy is based on balance: musical growth and vocal health. I want singers to improve their sound while protecting their instrument.
We work on breath control, tone clarity, range development, and pitch stability. Harmony singing and vocal arranging are also part of the lessons.
I help singers build vocal stamina so they can sing comfortably for longer periods.
Students also learn practical ways to manage vocal fatigue. Understanding your limits is part of healthy singing.
Warm-ups before singing and recovery afterward are important habits we practice regularly.
Ensemble singers also develop listening skills and blending techniques.
I also teach singers about hydration, rest, and healthy vocal routines.
A well-cared-for voice can support a lifetime of music.
