About Emily
I am a student worker with the Career Development Department at Lock Haven and our mission is to help kids who struggle finding a pathway, or getting on track with something.
Likewise with tutoring, my main focus is to keep the student on the right pathway through their education and to make sure they are confident in new skills they’re learning in chemistry.

I struggled with math my entire high school and early college career, until I really WANTED to be good at it.
I realized my future career was going to require me to need to know the important concepts of chemistry, and I wasn’t willing to give up my dreams because I thought I could never comprehend chemistry concepts, but with hard work and HELP, I am.
Help was also something I struggled with, and still do today. Accepting that you may need guidance to really further your understanding, or just taking a few steps back and breathing may be all it takes. I am offering support and guidance through my sessions at a comfortable pace for all students.
