About Kelly
Hello!
I'm Kelly, born in Alaska and raised throughout the world. I began dancing at the age of 3 and have never stopped. Trained in just about every style you can imagine, (tap, ballet, pointe, partnering, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, highland, various ballroom styles) and choreographing for over a decade, I am able to help you no matter your goals. I have taught at over 4 studios as well as was a coordinator and choreographer for the Michigan State University Dance Club. My students and pieces have competed on collegiate and national stages. My passion is sharing my love of dance in a physically safe way while also pushing you to your limits. You can achieve whatever your heart desires- I am just here to guide you!

As a dancer for 26 years and a dance teacher and choreographer for 11, I have worked with children as young as 18 months to adults preparing for their wedding. Before your first lesson, I like to discuss goals your goals so that we are all on the same page. Each lesson will begin with a warm up and stretch to ensure that you are ready to move while limiting the possibility of injury. We will then move on to the meat of the lesson (working on acrobatic tricks, ballet technique, mastering your tap wings, choreography if we are working towards a performance or you just want to dance, etc). We will finish off with a cool down stretch and answering any questions you may have.
Dance is truly my passion and I love sharing the magic of embodying music with as many people as I can.
