About Alicia
I am a military spouse and have been teaching for 10 years. I started tutoring when COVID-19 shut our country down and students started to need more help with learning at home. I love teaching and cannot see myself doing anything else. I care about how my students are progressing and will work as hard as they need to gain success.

I approach teaching by accommodating each of my student's learning styles. I work alongside my students to help them learn how to take notes for mathematics and teach each math unit step-by-step so that my students can easily learn how to approach and solve each style of a math equation or word problem that they may face. I also like to work with my student's in-person classroom teachers, because this helps them succeed in the classroom and gain a deep comprehension of the math curriculum.
