About Jake
Formerly studied Engineering, Physics and Further Mathematics as A-Levels. I was in the top 5% nationwide for mathematics in high school.
In college, I used to volunteer to tutor the high school students with their maths work and gained valuable experience with how to help students of all abilities become better at their subject.

I believe the best way to both teach and learn maths is to make it simple and relatable. It’s often very hard to understand why what you’re learning is relevant or important, and by making and connection between what you’re learning and how it applies to you can make a huge impact on your ability to understand and invest yourself the subject. I lay things out in a detailed, yet simple and clear way so that all learners can gain a better understanding and improve their knowledge of each topic.
