About Maartje
My name is Maartje, I am 24 years old and I have had a VWO diploma for 6 years now. After high school I mainly looked around to see what I want, and because of this I ended up in different (English-speaking) countries and lived there for different periods, which improved my English speaking skills. Also, I always thought this was the best part of English in high school.
Do you have trouble speaking English or do you find it scary? Together we can look at what you find difficult and encounter and come up with fun ways to deal with this and get it in your fingers. This way you can also handle oral English.

During the lessons we first look at who you are and what you encounter. What do you need and what do you already have down? From there we look further at things that you find difficult. Then together we will find a way that suits you to achieve that skill, and you can see that it can also be fun!
You can also send me your teaching material/exam material in advance so that I can prepare and save time in the lesson itself so we will have full attention for what you need. Then we can get started right away!
The duration of the lessons is between 30 minutes - 1 hour (negotiable).
Even in high school, oral tests were my strongest point and I enjoyed speaking in another language. Now, 6 years later, I have lived abroad for several periods and only spoke English, which has improved my speaking skills.

Maartje is niet alleen lief, maar weet ook goed uitleg te geven over alle soorten wiskunde. Dit deed ze altijd met geduld en op mijn niveau. Ik heb met behulp van de bijlessen zeker verbeteringen gemaakt/gezien in mijn resultaten:)
Alles waar ik zelf niet uitkwam heeft Maartje op zo’n manier uitgelegd dat ik dit uiteindelijk snapte. Mijn grootste valkuil was algebra. En op m’n proeftoets scoorde ik hiervoor 38% op m’n officiële examen was mijn score 79%!
Maartje hielp mij in mijn examenjaar met wiskunde B. Ze wist alles goed uit te leggen en ze liet mij ook dingen zelf doen. Beiden waren erg handig voor mij! Ook de lessen online waren overzichtelijk en heel fijn!! Helemaal top!! Uiteindelijk heb ik het met een ruime voldoende afgesloten, dankzij de bijlessen :)
Maartje is echt een hele fijne docent, ze legt rustig stap voor stap uit en ik heb nooit het gevoel dat iets gek is als ik het niet direct snap.
