About Emily
Born in Winter Park, Florida, Emily trained at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Ellison Ballet, and the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre. On full scholarship she attended The Royal Ballet School in London, and the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco.
Emily started her professional career in 2011 joining Ballet du Capitole in Toulouse, France. In 2012 she joined San Francisco Ballet where she danced for three years.
Emily has performed in a number of Galas including the International Ballet Competition Laureate Gala, 2009 Bolshoi Theater, Moscow; the Peter the Great Gala honoring Peter Pestov, 2009 New York City Center; the Algarve Cultural Gala featuring members of Bolshoi Ballet, 2008 Faro, Portugal; Youth America Grand Prix “Stars of Today Meet the Stars of Tomorrow” Gala, 2008, 2013 and 2014 and the International Ballet Festival of Miami, 2008 Young Medalists Gala.
Emily received the Bronze Medal in the 2009 International Ballet Competition in Moscow, the Grand Prix Award at the 2008 Youth America Grand Prix in Philadelphia and the Bronze Medal in the Senior Women’s Division at the 2008 Youth America Grand Prix Finals in New York.
