About Stephen
I am an avid football fan supporting both Hull City and Manchester City. I am a keen F1 fan and attend races whenever I can. My farming background means I am a lover of animals and I have two dogs and three cats. I am an avid reader and enjoy fiction and non-fiction and am currently reading the latest Lee Child novel. I enjoy action and documentary-style movies and also run on a daily basis as my wife is an excellent cook!
Teaching Economics is my passion. To ensure my students fulfill their full exam potential is my goal and I hope enjoy the way I teach along the way!

I am a specialist and former examiner in IGCSE, IB, and A-level ECONOMICS.
I am also available for Teachers who need advice on teaching methodology or other matters!
Lord Robbins a former professor at my old university(The L.S.E) defined Economics as:
. “the science which studies human behaviour as a relationship between ends and scarce means which have alternative uses”
My unique teaching style and extensive experience ensure that students will improve their Economics!
Students often do not understand the terminology in Economics and how to apply the theories and concepts in the examination. This is my focus. All of my students are required to complete homework and submit it before the next lesson. Frequent use of past papers consolidates their understanding and exam performance. Coverage of the appropriate course is flexible and focussed on the individual's student needs.
