About Monique-Michelle
I have just retired from working as a mainstream Reception Class Teacher.
I have worked with children in education supporting SEN for 9 years. I have studied the psychological theory behind teaching and learning in my psychology degree.
I am now employed as an outreach teacher for a London borough, supporting pupils and training staff with Children’s wellbeing and social emotional needs. (My passion)
I create and implement individualised learning plans for students including social emotional needs and academic outcomes. I am experienced in strategies that assist autism, adhd and behavioural needs.
I have an enhanced DBS Certificate.
I have a BSc in Psychology (Hons) and I am trained and experienced in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ADHD, ASD, Anxiety, Social emotional behavioural difficulties.

I begin by getting to know. I discuss goals with the learner and parents, assess to check for any missing gaps and then carefully plan and design activities that build upon knowledge.
My lessons focus on empowering children and gradually building their confidence and self esteem. I’m use multi-sensory teaching, so that your child can fully grasp the concept being taught. I break down the big chunks of information taught in school, into smaller and more manageable pieces of information.
My keep learning fun, with firm boundaries and respect.
I assess and review progress with children and parents and offer advice on practical strategies in order to support you and your child at home.
