Senior software engineer at Yelp - the learning review platform. Graduated with 1st class honours and have nearly 3 years in the software industry.
I teach software engineering for helping out student, helping build pathways for progressing in a particular career and counselling employees to select and achieve goals.
I'll happily put in extra time to build interesting ways to present information and make it work for you, while also considering how best to persist that new knowledge so it's not forgotten.

I aim to be as clear, concise and patient as possible to help people gain a better understanding in their subject at a pace which they are comfortable with. Everyone learns best in different ways so I am very flexible in how I can structure my lessons depending on what the students feels is best for them. I like to first discuss with students their strengths and weaknesses, before then covering some examples on the topics they are not as confident with. This would then be followed by tackling an exam question on the topic when the student feels confident, with help from me where required. Over time, students become more and more confident in their understanding of topics and are able to tackle even the most difficult exam questions.
