About Alice
Born to a Franco-British family, English is my mother tongue. Passionate about languages and travel, I studied Spanish and became a teacher. Qualified Spanish and French teacher (QTS), I first taught in secondary schools in France. In 2017 I moved to Bristol, where I taught English Literature and language, French and Spanish GCSE. Convinced that languages can be learned at any age, I set up many projects in France to teach English as a Foreign Language through music in nurseries and I also coordinated immersion stays for teenagers and adults.

Learning a language certainly requires theoretical knowledge, but above all you have to "get your hands dirty!". My classes are as many opportunities to speak, but also to discover the culture and the specificities of a country, the music ... My goal is to transmit this passion for discovery and travel that learning languages offers. And we can't do it without getting it wrong sometimes, and that's okay! My classroom is a safe space where a mistake is the sign that you have tried!
