About Caroline
My name is Caroline Duffner, I am a professional violinist and performance coach. During lockdown I further developed
my own system which I named Freedom to play violin and
viola specifically with online lesson in mind and I must say the results far exceeded my own expectations.
I studied at the Vienna Music Academy and went to England to continue my studies with the great soloist and Pedagogue
the late Kato Havas. It really took my playing to the next
level, I gained confidence and I started to perform internationally as well as Soloist and also held positions and contracts in Orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Orchestra, Durban
Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vienna
Volks Opera.
The way I teach is greatly influenced by my teacher the late Kato Havas.
My own system Freedom to play violin and viola is very effective and has helped a great many players.
The aim is the elimination of all physical and mental obstacles.
Learning relaxed control and coordination enables the player to
unlock the full force of his musical imagination.
I teach Students, Professionals ,Amateurs in fact anyone wanting to improve their own playing . I prepare for external diplomas and grades at the Royal Academy. I prepare for Concerts, Recitals in fact any challenges of a musical career.
