I offer lessons to pupils of all ages and levels. My method of teaching varies based on each individual's level, goals, and music taste. However, I make sure that the fundamentals are internalised in all cases. I am patient, calm and supportive throughout the process.
I am a London-based freelance jazz saxophonist and a recent graduate of the Royal Academy of Music. I teach all genres/styles of music, beginners to advanced. I am also able to teach piano, flute, theory and aural.
While at the Academy, I had the chance to study with some of the most prolific musicians and teachers from the UK, including Martin Speake, Stan Sulzmann, Nick Smart, Nikki Iles, James Allsopp, Jim Hart, Gareth Lockrane, Julian Siegel, Iain Ballamy and Pete Churchill. In addition, I have also had lessons with some of the visiting teachers including Will Vinson, Dave Holland, Tim Armacost, Harry Allen and Kirk MacDonald. Moreover, I had the opportunity to perform in the Big Band project along the visiting professor and legendary jazz saxophonist and educator Dave Liebman.
I also play in and write music for my own band. Most recently I had the opportunity to present it at the 606 Club in Chelsea as part of their ‘’Jazz from the Royal Academy of Music’’ series, providing the platform for young musicians.
