About Lorena
I love language and using my teaching skills to promote and brake down linguistic barriers. I like to stay busy and motivated through teaching and learning as well. I need to learn from those who I am engaged with, a patient, a client, a healthcare provider...etc, in order for me to assess the level of linguistic I should employ.

Spanish Tutoring. Tutored experience for 15 years. Have taught various subjects to adults. Looking to tutored in Salinas and surrounding areas.
As a teacher, I mainly taught 4th-5th graders for the Monterey County Migrant Education Program. I taught based on California Standards, but my lessons, as all other Migrant Ed Teachers, we emphasized Language Arts at the different levels even if it was Math I was teaching.
Building and Exposing Essential Vocabulary was fundamental.
