About Athina
Having spent most of my schooling in the United States, I had the opportunity to help, over the years, many students (ranging from primary school to University level, in French, English, and Spanish) after class to help them with their homework and presentations, but also to facilitate conversation in a foreign language, by organizing international events centered around gastronomy, art or cinema.

24 year-old Franco-American, born in the United States. I was fortunate enough to live in the Midwest of the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, but also in France.
After earning my Bachelor of Arts at Hope College in 2009 (triple major in Art, Art History and French), I came to Paris to pursue my studies in Art History at the Sorbonne - Paris IV. I received my Masters degree in Contemporary Art History this past October 2015 and am currently pursuing PhD at the same University.
The language courses I offer are aimed at both students of all levels and adults, curious to learn not only the English language, but also American culture in general.
Each course will be prepared and designed based on the level and and expectations of each student -- a first meeting will be held to get acquainted and discuss these points.
After this, a syllabus will be sent including a description of the future courses and academic goals for each session.
Being a strong advocate of a communicative approach, I will highly encourage oral language practice.
Availability begins mid-January 2016.
