About Tarun
Hello, I'm Tarun, and I'm currently in my second year of studying BA Modern Language Studies (French, German and beginners’ Spanish) at the University of Nottingham.
During my A-Levels (in which I achieved 3 A*s), I helped to run help sessions for GCSE French students which focused on solidifying the main grammar points of the language in an interactive way.
Having only completed my A-Levels in 2022, I still have a strong grasp on schools' curriculums and the requirements for GCSE and A-Level languages.
Languages have always been my main passion and interest, and due to this I go above and beyond in this subject. I love teaching and inspiring others to further their language learning as I truly believe it is a core ability to be able to speak multiple languages.

I strongly believe that everyone learns in a different way, so there is no set method in which I teach, it is based on the student themselves. In our first lesson, I will ask the student what they particularly want to focus on, and following that I will tailor what we study around the student's needs.
I offer hour-long classes aimed at refining and practicing the 4 main aspects of language learning - reading, writing, listening and speaking, placing as much importance on vocabulary as on learning basic grammar concepts.
I can tutor for all ages, including GCSE and A-Level, having experience in running help sessions at my secondary school for language students in preparation for their GCSEs.
