About Ella
I am a student at Durham University, studying French and Spanish. I really enjoy learning languages, and would love to play a part in helping other people learn one too. I have only this year began learning Spanish, but I have really enjoyed it so far. I want to teach French because I would like to help other people who are in the process of learning it to better their understanding and grasp of the language.

As someone who has not long completed my French GCSE and A Level, I can provide recent information on the subject and its requirements to achieve a good grade. I think a level of French where you feel confident in using the language is so important and useful, so I believe that using materials that are intended for a French audience are really important to interact with. I believe that a friendly learning environment is especially important when learning a language as it provides you with the confidence you need to be able to try your best - which is where the best learning takes place. I would like to include a mixture of French and English in lessons so that a deeper understanding of the language is achieved.
