French exchange student with prior experience offering French classes at any level and for any age

I’ve known Iona for 8 years as she was my daughter’s classmate in one of France’s best schools, the International school ‘Lycée des Pontonniers’ in Strasbourg where she was one of the top students in French. I particularly appreciate Iona’s maturity, extensive knowledge of French literature and theatre, sense of responsibility, patience, positive attitude and sense of humour. Iona always excelled in everything she did, including opera singing and theatre. This is why last year I asked Iona to help my son with his French and English courses. She was so motivating and talented as a teacher, despite her young age, that he greatly improved his marks and successfully passed the exams to enter the Lycée des Pontonniers. Her humour and lovely character made her a pleasant a teacher, who could communicate with an adolescent (not an easy task!) and encourage him to work and want to learn more. For all the above reasons and on the basis of my personal experience, I highly recommend Iona as a French language teacher, both to young and older students.
