French & Italian tutoring: learn your favourite language with a cheerful and relaxed spirit...

I have been learning French for the last five years. And before that, on and off half-heartedly for some time. However I am dyslexic I am good with logics but find learning a language very difficult, I am also nearly 85 and I have short term memory loss, this makes learning a language even more difficult.

I first joined a small group (1.5 hours/week) with Geraldine in January 2025 and since 3rd March I have also been having a weekly session (1 hour) with her on a one to one basis. She has the patience of Jobe and quickly adjusts to the level of her students, she is always so encouraging, it is seldom, maybe never that I am wrong, but I do need correction or adjustment. She is French and speaks really good English but with a slight French accent, in my view that is an advantage. She is very encouraging very open and an excellent teacher. She is keen to adopt whatever method seems to suit the student and makes the whole thing fun and enjoyable.

There are many French courses, available online or on CD, DVD etc., but there is nothing like personal tuition. If you want to learn French, or are looking for a tutor to help your youngsters who want to learn French, then I would wholeheartedly recommend Geraldine.
