About Jolie
My fascination with French began through interest in international communication, literature, and cultural exploration during my academic journey. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Language Studies followed by a Master’s Degree in Francophone Communication Studies. During the past 7 years, I have guided students from different educational backgrounds while helping them improve fluency and confidence through supportive and interactive teaching methods.
I believe language learning should feel engaging, approachable, and practical for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on conversation practice, relatable examples, and structured explanation that help students understand French naturally instead of relying entirely on memorization techniques. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and communicate actively because confidence develops through supportive interaction and regular participation.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French cinema, reading Francophone novels, and learning about traditions across French-speaking communities. Staying creatively connected to the language helps me bring fresh discussions and cultural insight into lessons regularly. Teaching French is deeply meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students become more confident communicators over time. My goal is always to support learners in building strong language skills while developing appreciation for French expression and culture.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally through structured practice, engaging conversations, and practical language activities. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation, and basic conversational skills, while advanced learners work on listening precision, fluent speaking, writing development, and detailed expression. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them improve without unnecessary pressure or fear of mistakes.
I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel confident practicing French naturally and comfortably. Many learners initially struggle with speaking confidence, so I focus on gradual fluency development through patience and encouragement. Over time, students improve pronunciation, listening ability, and communication skills naturally. French becomes much more enjoyable when learners realize they can express themselves clearly and connect meaningfully with the language and culture.
