About Tia
My passion for French began with an interest in language, literature, and culture. I pursued a B.A. in French Literature and Language Studies, exploring linguistic structure, stylistic expression, and cultural nuances. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided students from diverse backgrounds, helping them build solid linguistic foundations while gaining confidence in both written and spoken French.
I believe effective teaching combines clarity, patience, and engagement. My approach emphasizes understanding and applying concepts, not just memorizing rules. I adapt lessons to each learner’s pace and style, encouraging active participation and curiosity. I use cultural examples, literature, and conversation to make lessons engaging and meaningful.
