About Megan
I completed a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies before earning a Master of Arts in French Linguistics. During my 8 years of teaching, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and language levels. My fascination with language and culture inspired me to pursue French professionally. Teaching allows me to combine these interests while helping learners achieve their own communication goals. Every student brings a unique perspective that enriches the learning experience.
My approach focuses on practical communication supported by strong language foundations. I encourage learners to engage actively through conversation, listening, and meaningful interaction. Lessons are designed to be welcoming, organized, and motivating. Students receive guidance that helps them build confidence while improving accuracy. I believe language learning should feel both achievable and enjoyable.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring cultural history, and following developments in language education. These interests help me bring authentic content and fresh ideas into lessons. Seeing students become confident French speakers is incredibly rewarding. I am committed to creating an environment where learners feel comfortable making progress. My goal is to help students communicate naturally while developing a deeper appreciation for French language and culture.

My French lessons combine language learning with cultural understanding to create an engaging and practical experience. Activities include listening tasks, pronunciation practice, sentence-building exercises, and conversational role plays that simulate everyday interactions. Students also explore idiomatic expressions, cultural customs, and common language patterns used by native speakers. Frequent practice and constructive feedback help learners improve steadily and naturally.
My aim is to help students use French confidently in real situations. Language learning becomes more rewarding when learners can understand conversations, express opinions, and engage with different cultures.
